Campsite located along the shores of a beautiful natural bay, only 500m from the beach and 17 km from Royan. 

In Charente-Maritime, in the heart of the Arvert peninsula, Les Mathes-La Palmyre is a pleasant seaside resort bordered by 30km of fine sandy beaches. 

Here, you'll fall under the spell of the magnificent natural bay dominated by the Coubre lighthouse. You'll also discover an 8,000-hectare forest of maritime pines and holm oaks. Royan is 17km away, Saintes 40km, La Rochelle 80km and Bordeaux 140km. 

Sheltered by the Bonne Anse square, you can enjoy a variety of water sports, including sailing and kite-surfing. There is a family beach ideal for swimming just 1500m away. La Palmyre Zoo is 1.5km away and is one of Europe's most famous zoos, with 1,600 mammals, birds and reptiles representing every continent.

The campsite has an aquatic centre with 2 swimming pools, one of which is covered and heated, waterslides (2 lanes) and a fun, colourful paddling pool for the little ones! 

On this campsite the Fun Dose is purple. This means it's a very lively campsite. In july and august, we offer the following:

- The Clapou Club for 4-6 year olds and Policator Club for 7-10 year olds welcomes your children Monday–Friday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up five times a week.
- 4 activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Aquatic wake-up call every morning, sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised all day long.
- 4 big evening events are organized per week and we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.

- Additionally, many evenings are hosted by hired entertainers and performers who provide high quality shows.
